Workers' Compensation Specialist **

Location: Anchorage, AK (Hybrid)

Job Type: Full-time

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Anchorage, Alaska, with possible flexibility to work from home. The Workers' Compensation Specialist will manage workers' compensation claims from start to finish, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Key responsibilities include evaluating claim information, coordinating with insurance providers, delivering excellent client service, and ensuring compliance with Alaska's regulatory requirements. This role requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills to ensure accurate and efficient claim handling.

Qualifications

  • Independent Adjuster (IA) License - REQUIRED (Mandatory for handling Alaska workers' compensation claims)
  • Strong skills in Claims Handling, Claims Management, and Insurance processes
  • Experience or knowledge in Employee Benefits and related services
  • Proficiency in Customer Service with an emphasis on client satisfaction and communication
  • Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Alaska workers' compensation laws and regulations
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, insurance, or a related field preferred
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
