Responsibilities
- Conduct surveys to establish property boundaries, topographic features, and other relevant information
- Use surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS receivers, and digital levels to collect data - Analyze survey data and create detailed reports, maps, and drawings
- Prepare and maintain accurate field notes, records, and sketches
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to provide accurate survey information for project planning
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols during surveying activities - Perform quality control checks on survey data to ensure accuracy - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in surveying technology
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field preferred - Proven experience working as a Surveyor or similar role - Proficiency in trigonometry and mathematics
- Strong knowledge of surveying software such as Carlson, MicroStation, AutoCAD, ArcGIS - Familiarity with data analysis skills and the ability to interpret schematics
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
