Sheet Metal Mechanic
Location: Charleston, SC
Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics for a full-time commercial HVAC project in Charleston, SC. This is a long-term opportunity expected to last 12-16 months, with approximately 40 hours per week and potential overtime.
Responsibilities
Perform sheet metal installation and HVAC-related work on a commercial construction project.
Read and work from plans, drawings, and specifications.
Install, assemble, and modify ductwork and sheet metal components.
Provide direction and guidance to HVAC helpers.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
Follow project specifications, safety procedures, and quality standards.
Arrive on time and maintain reliable attendance.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic/HVAC Mechanic.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to provide direction to helpers.
Reliable transportation.
Strong attendance and punctuality.
Driver's license preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Charleston, SC.
Compensation & Schedule
Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week.
10-hour shifts / 4x10 schedule.
Overtime and weekends as needed.
Long-term project: 12-16 months.
Work location: In person.
