About The Job

Sales Manager - Roofing Company (OKC)

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Schedule: Monday-Friday (No Weekends)

Hours: 50 hours per week

Compensation: $30,000 Base Salary Volume KPI Bonus Profitability Bonus (Earning potential up to $300,000/year)

Reports To: Owner

Currently operating with 4 sales trucks and on track to grow to 30, the company is seeking a motivated, experienced Sales Manager ready to step in at the ground level and lead that growth.

Position Overview

The Sales Manager will lead, train, and drive a high-performing team of roofing sales representatives. This hands-on leadership role involves recruiting, developing, and managing the team while achieving targets for volume, profit, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily performance of the sales team
  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales reps to hit goals and maximize profitability
  • Drive consistent activity levels, lead follow-up, and closing ratios
  • Develop sales strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Monitor job profitability and ensure pricing standards are followed
  • Conduct performance reviews, sales meetings, and ride-alongs
  • Collaborate with operations and production for smooth project handoffs
  • Report KPIs and results directly to the owner

Performance Metrics

  • Sales Volume KPI Bonus (monthly & quarterly)
  • Profitability Bonus tied to gross profit margins
  • Recruiting and retention of a productive sales team
  • Activity metrics: follow-up, quoting, closing ratios

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $30,000/year
  • Bonuses: Volume profitability bonuses (earning potential up to $300,000/year with a full team)
  • Growth: Unlimited as the company scales from 4 to 30 trucks

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday
  • 50 hours/week
  • No weekends

Qualifications

  • 3 years of roofing or construction sales experience (management preferred)
  • Proven leadership and team-building experience
  • Strong understanding of insurance and retail roofing sales
  • Excellent communication, organization, and accountability
  • Driven, competitive, and growth-focused
