What You Will Own

Leadership & Coordination

• Direct the work of Level I and Level II installers each day.
• Coordinate with general contractors, trades, inspectors, and client representatives.
• Maintain jobsite safety and ensure compliance with safety programs.
• Set daily priorities and communicate clear expectations to the crew.
  
  

Technical Execution

• Lead installation of AV, lighting, broadcast, and control systems.
• Perform advanced rack wiring, labeling, testing, and device configuration.
• Pull, terminate, dress, and certify cabling according to our standards.
• Install and align projectors, LED walls, displays, speakers, and lighting instruments.
• Perform preliminary system commissioning and verification.
• Identify field issues and propose solutions to the Project Manager.
  
  

Documentation & Communication

• Review system drawings, schematics, and signal flows before installation.
• Maintain accurate as-built documentation and markup notes.
• Submit daily jobsite reports through Wrike.
• Communicate progress, blockers, and needs to the Project Manager and Site Superintendent.
  
  

Representation

• Serve as the primary on-site ambassador.
• Uphold professionalism in appearance, communication, and conduct.

What You Need To Bring

• 3-5 years of experience in AV, lighting, or systems integration.
• Proven competence at a Level III technical skill level.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and construction documents.
• Strong understanding of signal flow and networked AV concepts.
• Experience supervising technicians or leading on-site work.
• Solid communication and organization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust to changing conditions.
• Competency with computers, mobile devices, and project management tools.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background and MVR check.

The Practical Details

• Full-time hourly role with overtime availability.
• Standard hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (subject to jobsite needs).
• Moderate travel required; typical out-of-town projects last 1-2 weeks.
• Work at heights up to 60' using ladders, scaffolds, or lifts.
• Lift up to 75 lbs and operate power tools safely.
• Personal hand tools required (screwdrivers, cutters, wrenches, crimpers, soldering iron, multimeter, drill/driver). Specialty tools provided.
