Junior Designer

Job SummaryWe are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in the design and development of innovative projects, collaborating closely with senior designers and project managers. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in design principles and proficiency in various design software, contributing to the creation of high-quality schematics and models.DutiesCollaborate with senior designers to create detailed designs and schematics using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks.Assist in drafting and building 2D animations to visualize project concepts.Participate in the development of project presentations, ensuring clarity and visual appeal.Utilize NavisWorks for project coordination and clash detection.Support the team in creating models using SketchUp and MicroStation.Review designs for accuracy and compliance with project specifications.Maintain organized documentation of design processes and revisions.ExperienceProficiency in design software including AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, NavisWorks, MicroStation, SketchUp, and 2D animation tools.Familiarity with creating schematics and drafting techniques.Strong attention to detail with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Excellent communication skills to effectively convey design ideas and concepts.A degree or coursework in Design, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.Company DescriptionW3Global was established in 2006 in Fremont, CA with a vision: simplify the recruiting process and develop an industry-disrupting platform to connect candidates with clients.
