Full training and mentorship are core to our firm's philosophy.Key Responsibilities:I. Advocacy and Education Law Litigation (Primary Focus)Case Management: Handle all phases of litigation, including drafting filings, managing discovery, motion practice, and direct client communication, with the support of senior counsel.Core Issues: Focus on representing families and employees against school districts in areas such as:Special Education Law (IEP/504)Employment Law (discrimination, retaliation)High School Athletics issuesCivil Rights and First Amendment claimsSupport for potential class action litigation against government entities.Courtroom & Hearings: Attend evidentiary hearings, mediations, IEP/504 meetings, and actively seek court appearances.II. Real Estate and Business CounselTax Disputes (Initial Emphasis): Manage property tax protests and valuations for our landlord portfolio.Landlord Representation (Later Emphasis): Take on matters related to landlord/tenant disputes, unlawful detainer actions, and leasing issues.Transactional Support: Review and draft commercial leases and various contract matters.III.
