What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Ready Mix Driver position at W?
We are currently looking for Concrete Ready Mix Drivers to join our team!
JOB DUTIES:
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety and always maintains a strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures.
- Professional attitude while interacting with customers, peers, and the general public.
- Deliver concrete to customer in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
- Complete required pre and post trip inspections.
- Follow procedures to ensure truck is safe to operate.
- Report in writing necessary maintenance required on truck or concrete mixer.
- Safely maneuver truck on job site, attach chutes to discharge material.
- Keep a clean truck to minimize concrete buildup.
- Keep interior of truck clean and free of trash/debris
- Customer service mindset
- Ability to work under pressure.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Class A or B CDL with Air Brakes endorsement
- Current valid medical card
- Current clean driving record
- No DUI/DWI/OWI in the last 5 years
- Be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and random drug/alcohol screenings.
- Be able to pass driving record screening.
- Rear discharge experience is a plus.
