Position Summary:

Responsible for developing comprehensive 3D models and detailed designs using Virtual Design and

Construction (VDC) tools and methodologies. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in design

software, a strong understanding of construction processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with

architects, engineers, and construction managers to ensure that designs are accurately represented and that all

aspects of the project are properly coordinated.

Essential Functions:

• Populate plumbing and mechanical models per contract standards using Revit and SysQue database.
• Perform system clash detection using Navisworks.
• Perform coordination with other trades.
• Communicate with internal team members to gain missing information to complete coordination
• Interpret and apply system specifications and Plumbing/Mechanical codes.
• Interpret and apply submittal data for equipment, fixtures, and other specialty items to the modeled systems.
• Represent systems during coordination meetings with other trades.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of Revit and SysQue.
• Working knowledge of Navisworks.
• Good communication skills
• Leadership skills
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant technical experience.
  
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• This position requires long hours sitting and using office equipment, including telephones and computers, and may also require some light lifting of files and materials and carrying checks, mail, and other documentation to different departments from time to time.
• The position may also involve some repetitive motions of the hands, wrists, and elbows.
  
  
  

Working Conditions:

• This position is normally performed in an office or jobsite office work environment which does not
  
  
  

subject the employee to the elements. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet.

• This position may require a flexible schedule, periodic overtime, and overnight travel as needed.
