Job Overview:
The Contracts Manager oversees the preparation, negotiation, and execution of a wide range of vendor contracts. The role ensures contract compliance, risk mitigation, and alignment with project goals. Works cross-functionally with project teams, vendors, and legal to ensure contract integrity and execution success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and review contracts (vendor, subcontracts, service agreements, land leases, etc.).
- Manage the full contract lifecycle: intake, review, approval, execution, amendments, and closeout.
- Coordinate with Legal to address risk and ensure compliance.
- Serve as the point of contact for contract inquiries and guidance.
- Maintain contract tracking systems and document repositories.
- Ensure execution strategies are aligned with project and company goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, Construction Management, or related field.
- 5 years of relevant experience in contracts management (construction or project-based industries preferred).
- Working knowledge of contract law, insurance requirements, and licensing.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Experience using contract lifecycle management software preferred.
