W. Silver Recycling is one of the nation's leading recyclers, with a presence covering the Southwest United States and Mexico. W. Silver Recycling has been operating for over 100 years servicing the unique by-product needs of manufacturers in the southwest United States and Mexico.

We are looking for an effective office clerk that has the ability to work diligently to help maintain smooth office operations. You must be reliable and hardworking with great communication skills and email etiquette. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Excel, office equipment and procedures. The position is based at our Santa Teresa, NM facility located at 5025 Avenida Creel, Santa Teresa, NM

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accuracy of all data entry, customer pricing and customer documents reported
  • Receiving unloading sheets for Billing
  • Daily Forklift Inspection
  • Purchasing Data Entry
  • Inventory Control Supplies
  • Email/call clients to verify pricing, (e.g. quotes)
  • Answer customer calls/emails
  • Equipment monthly cost report
  • Other general duties as assigned

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires working in an office and warehouse environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend work is also necessary on a need basis.

Travel: No travel is expected for this position.

Required Education: High school diploma

Experience: at least 2 years of general clerical office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
