What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Technician position at W. Silver Recycling?
About W. Silver Recycling
W. Silver Recycling (WSR) operates a highly complex, fast-paced B2B by-products management model servicing major manufacturers and industrial sources across the US and Mexico. We are driven by our Hedgehog concept: to be the most efficient scrap operator in North America. We run processing facilities across along the US-Mexico border, in Mexico, and are headquartered in El Paso, TX. Efficiency is not a slogan here. It shows up in how we run our equipment, how we manage cost per ton, and in the expectation that people own the results of their area.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Technician (Level III – V) to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our operations, ensuring that our stationary warehouse machinery, mobile material handlers, and heavy equipment run safely and at peak efficiency.

- Mobile Fleet Maintenance: Service, repair, and maintain heavy equipment, forklifts, and yard mules (terminal tractors).
- Brake Systems: Execute comprehensive brake system inspections, diagnostics, overhauls, and repairs on mobile and heavy equipment.
- Preventative Maintenance (PM): Drive and execute strict preventative maintenance programs for both mobile equipment and stationary industrial machinery to minimize downtime and extend asset lifecycles.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines, Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures, and company safety policies. Maintain detailed service logs and accurate repair records.
