Intern Co-Op

W. Silver Recycling, Inc., is one of the nation's leading metals recyclers, with a presence covering the Southwest United States and Mexico. W. Silver Recycling has been operating for over 100 years servicing the unique recycling by-product needs of manufacturers in the southwest United States and Mexico.

We are seeking a Co-Op for our growing organization.  This unique position will report into the Regional Operations Manager to assist with data collection, analysis and clerical duties. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of engineering basics. 

General Duties & Responsibilities

• Clerical duties

• Gather data for analysis

• Take photos 

• Create catalogs

• Attend Operations meetings 

• Other Duties as assigned 

• Must own a vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license 

Qualifications & Competencies

• Knowledge of process flow, process maps, exception reports, pivot tables, histograms, pareto analysis and similar concepts

• Bi-lingual; English/Spanish (speak, read, write) preferred

• Flexibility; Can-Do attitude

• Well organized; multi-tasking; time management

• Solution based

• Professional, reliable and self-directing work habits

• Computer literate: Email, Microsoft and/or Google suite

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program; Engineering preferred

• Training will be provided
