HR Immigration & Mobility Specialist

As HR Immigration & Mobility Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering an excellent employee and stakeholder experience across North America by supporting immigration, relocation, and mobility processes with a strong focus on compliance, service excellence, and continuous improvement. This opportunity is open in Houston or Fort Lauderdale and follows a hybrid working model.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with HR colleagues, business leaders, employees, and external vendors to manage end-to-end immigration and mobility activities. You will also contribute to the development and enhancement of policies, processes, and tools that support a consistent and effective mobility experience.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead immigration activities and support mobility and relocation processes by coordinating with external vendors and representing the company and employees throughout the process.
  • Provide expert guidance and a high level of customer service to HR teams and the business across the full assignment lifecycle and mobility-related matters.
  • Support the management and communication of internal project transfers, site assignments, and short-term assignments in close coordination with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Conduct initial assessments for assignment requests, manage cases end to end, and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Act as a key point of contact for employees, internal stakeholders, and external vendors, ensuring timely and clear communication throughout each case.
  • Build strong partnerships with vendors, leadership teams, and HR colleagues to support the successful delivery of mobility, relocation, and immigration initiatives.
  • Oversee third-party vendor activities related to mobility, relocation, and immigration, ensuring quality, consistency, and effective collaboration.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to the enhancement of processes, tools, and ways of working.
  • Work closely with global mobility and HR teams to help harmonize country policies, relocation practices, and immigration procedures.
  • Assess potential compliance risks and support the development of priorities and roadmaps for future improvements and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to maintain and develop policies related to mobility, immigration, and relocation.

What Will Help You Succeed In This Role

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in international assignments, relocation, immigration, or similar roles
  • Solid knowledge of immigration processes, assignment package elements, assignee transfer processes, cost projections, and policy development
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and timely delivery
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in written and spoken English
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving skills, and confidence working within compliance frameworks
  • Ability to make sound decisions and resolve issues effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Flexibility to work across global time zones when needed
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, service-minded approach
