Finance Manager

Position Summary

The Finance Manager is responsible for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with Wurth PAP, international financial reporting standards, and generally accepted accounting principles. This position establishes and documents procedures for the accounting process and oversees internal auditing process.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintain and enforce a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
• Manage access and utilization of banking/payment systems in accordance with Group policy.
• Deliver timely and accurate financial analysis along with a complete set of analytical results surrounding operations and variances.
• Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner, all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable, customer invoices are issued in a timely manner, accounts receivable are collected promptly, periodic bank reconciliations are completed and required debt payments are made on a timely basis.
• Establish and maintain an orderly accounting filing system, and system controls over accounting transactions.
• Prepare various month end analyses, reports, and statements
• Issue timely and complete financial statements, ensure timely monthly reporting of Treasury, Sales, Capex, and Financial Statements in P21/CIS.
• Maintain Assets and Leases in BNA.
• Calculate variances from the prior year/budget and report significant issues to management.
• Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions and contract negotiations.
• Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit.
• Comply with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Manage and control Wells Fargo Expense Management system as Program Administrator.
• Calculate periodic commissions for sales team and monitor plan for alignment with organizational strategy and metrics.
• Participate in corporate business planning and reporting sessions as requested.
• Continuously improve productivity and efficiency of processes throughout the operational organization.
  
  

Education/Experience

• B.S. Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business-related field
• MBA and/or CPA and/or CMA is a plus
• Minimum 4 years of accounting/finance experience in a business setting
• Knowledge of International financial reporting standards is required
• Experience within business start-up environment, a plus
• Knowledge of Prophet 21 ERP system, a plus
• Project management knowledge and experience, a plus

• Travel estimated at 10% - 20%
  
  

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, skills, work experience and certifications. You may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive bonus. An incentive bonus, if any, depends on various factors such as organizational performance.
