Position Summary
The Field Safety Specialist is responsible for driving workplace safety performance and compliance at customer sites across their assigned territory. This role serves as the on-site safety advisor and liaison between Wurth Industry and our customers, ensuring safe work practices, regulatory compliance, and the effective deployment of Wurth's safety solutions. The Field Safety Specialist supports customers by performing hazard assessments, delivering training, conducting audits, and recommending products, services, and best practices that reduce workplace risk and improve operational safety.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Conduct regular on-site safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments at customer facilities.
Provide technical support and guidance on OSHA, ANSI, and other regulatory standards related to workplace safety.
Recommend appropriate PPE, safety equipment, and MRO solutions to address identified hazards.
Partner with customers to develop and implement safety improvement plans, ensuring corrective actions are documented and executed.
Deliver hands-on product demonstrations, provide technical safety information, and perform safety assessments for customer teams.
Collaborate with Wurth account managers and safety specialists' peers to identify opportunities for safety program growth and customer engagement.

Support deployment and training in vending, inventory management, and safety technology solutions.
Maintain accurate records of safety visits, findings, and recommendations in company CRM system.
Stay current on industry trends, emerging risks, and new safety technologies.
Promote Wurth's safety culture both internally and externally by serving as a subject matter expert in the field.
50-75% travel in assigned territory as well as trade shows/events as required
All other duties as assigned.
Education, Qualifications, Skills & Abilities
3 years of experience in workplace safety, EHS, or industrial operations.
Knowledge of OSHA and industry-specific safety regulations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Ability to work independently, travel frequently within assigned territory, and manage multiple customer accounts.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and digital reporting tools.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 60–75%.
Preferred
Safety certifications such as OSHA 30, CSP, ASP, QSSP or CHST.
Experience in industrial distribution, MRO, or manufacturing environments.
Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) a plus.
