This role is a great way to jump-start your career right after high school. As a Supply Chain Apprentice, you’ll learn how products move through a company from when they arrive to when they’re shipped out while gaining hands-on experience in a professional environment.
This role is designed to help you learn step by step, working alongside experienced team members and getting exposure to different parts of the business.
What does an Apprenticeship with Wurth Industry look like?
This apprenticeship is built to help you grow both professionally and academically. You’ll split your time between working at Wurth Industry and taking classes at Ivy Tech Community College, following a consistent schedule of three days at work and two days in school.
As you progress through the program, you’ll apply what you’re learning in class directly to your day-to-day work. Over time, you’ll develop not only technical knowledge in supply chain, but also important workplace skills like communication, problem-solving, and time management.

- Tracking and organizing inventory using technology
- Assisting with receiving and shipping products
- Keeping work areas organized and running efficiently
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Learning to operate warehouse equipment like forklifts (with training provided)
- Supporting quality checks and following safety guidelines
- Helping solve everyday challenges like inventory issues or shipment delays
