Senior Manufacturing Engineer
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Oversight of the development and implementation of new and improvement of existing processes and equipment for the manufacturing process.
- Design and/or improve fixturing for manufacturing.
- Coordinate engineering support for the process technicians, Tool & Die makers and Maintenance on special projects as needed.
- Develop and submit research packages for process and equipment improvements, submitting for Capital Plan.
- Work with other engineering team members to ensure capital projects are transferred to manufacturing in a timely fashion. This will include the writing of SOP’s, training documentation, specifications and coordinating training for both the technician group but manufacturing associates as well.
- Implement training program for all manufacturing associates.
- Assist in New Design & existing product development, ensuring all time lines are met.
- Develop and implement effective processes for current and new product designs, ensuring to issue required new specifications & SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) to manufacturing.
- Supervision of manufacturing engineers.
- Associate will be required to travel from time to time.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering required.
- Eight to ten years’ experience required.
- Demonstrated Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) required. Knowledge of AX operating system a plus.
