Duties
- Perform routine maintenance such as resealing roofs and exterior as well as various other checks on RV systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, handyman etc.
- Handle complex repairs such as brake repair and axle servicing.
- Repair or replace plumbing systems within RVs, including water lines and waste disposal components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic tools to efficiently complete repairs.
- Inspect and service HVAC units, and other specialized RV systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with assembly or reassembly of RV components during repairs or upgrades.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction on-site.
- Maintain detailed records of all services performed and parts used for each vehicle serviced.
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or service technician background with a focus on automotive or RV repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems including HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with diagnostics to identify issues quickly and efficiently.
- Knowledge of engine repair and heavy-duty vehicle maintenance is highly desirable but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and working in diverse outdoor environments.
