What are the responsibilities and job description for the Attorney position at W M Law?
WM Law, a busy bankruptcy, estate planning and probate law firm with four offices in the Kansas City area, is seeking an associate attorney. Experience in Bankruptcy and/or Estate Planning and Probate is preferred, but not required. We will train an attorney that has a great work ethic, is friendly and has a positive outlook. WM Law’s team-based approach to administering cases allows professional and efficient service to be offered in a timely manner. We are family-friendly and value a high quality of life for all our staff. Candidates must be willing to work within this environment as well as travel periodically to our satellite offices.
All practice areas require extensive attorney/client interaction; therefore, the ideal candidate must be highly organized, a self-starter, possess strong customer service and communication skills, and must be able to multi-task in a deadline driven work environment. Organization and timely responses to clients and court personnel are critical. This position requires the candidate to meet with clients, appear in court and assist the other associate attorneys and support staff with case administration.
