Assistant Shop Maintenance Manager

W .M. Jordan Company is seeking a full-time Assistant Shop Maintenance Manager in the Richmond, Virginia area.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience with vehicle maintenance and repairs required
• Experience with roof patching, painting, and general building maintenance preferred
• Ability to perform landscaping as needed for company property(s)
• Must be able to handle variable weight as it pertains to the equipment used in the performance of your job duties or ask for assistance with lifting, if needed.
• Must have valid Virginia driver's license and strong driving record
  
  

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Evaluate condition of equipment and preform maintenance and repairs of vehicles, while documenting and anticipating cost impacts
• Report problems (mechanical or building system) to manager and resolve in a timely manner
• Make sure all equipment has the proper company identifiers on them before its next assignment.
• Keep record of time spent on equipment repairs and the job project to be charged for repairs.
• Maintain all equipment to be keep up to W. M. Jordan's safety standards and operational for its next assignment.
• Flexible to assist as needed outside of business hours for building repairs
• Assist Facility Maintenance Manager with miscellaneous tasks
• Transporting construction equipment to W. M. Jordan jobsites
• Assistance with basic W. M. Jordan jobsite logistics
