- Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.
- Prepare product for sale (icing, decorating, pricing, packaging, and labeling).
- Maintain product level, quality, and freshness.
- As needed, perform Foodservice Clerk functions.
- Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep, and sales areas.
- Maintain a clean work area, couplers, and decorating bags.
- Maintain the organization of the freezer, including proper rotation of products according to variety.
- Communicate guest requests to management.
- Communicate temperature breakdowns to the supervisor.
- Keeps supply area neat, clean, and tidy at all times.
- Properly rotates icings (including how to read dates of icings) and scrapes down buckets.
- Use the cake manual as reference material.
- Write on cakes.
- Properly mix colors according to the color chart.
- Master the use of the airbrush.
- Use the cake production sheet.
- Achieve budgeted sales, shrink, and profits for the cake section of the bakery.
- Assist in product receiving and storage.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
- Friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to read and understand information and direction.
- Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.
