Job Description Summary
- Application, including shoveling, sweeping, raking, mechanical assistance, lifting, pushing and pulling of various objects. Ability to perform strenuous work in varying weather conditions. Other duties as assigned per supervisor.
Requirements
- Must partner with crew members per plan specifications, and if need be, perform tasks of other positions as instructed by crew foreman to ensure daily schedules/estimates are met.
- Ability to be flexible with last minute schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes. Overtime work required. Out of town/county/state work may be required. Nigh shift work may be required.
- Usage of various handheld tools.
- Attendance required according to attendance policy to ensure crew ability to operate at a normal efficiency level.
- Physical ability to shovel and rake.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Initiative to perform/assist with other positions for job completions.
- Attitude/cooperation: always maintain courteous and professional manner with co-workers, customers, and the general public.
- Flagger Certification is an essential function of the job and certification will be required to be obtained during new hire orientation.
Preferences
- Previous experience preferred.
- Drivers license required.
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
