What You'll Do
- Fabricate custom signs using aluminum, steel, sheet metal, plastics, and other materials
- Read and interpret shop drawings and fabrication details
- MIG weld aluminum and steel components
- Operate fabrication equipment including brakes, shears, rollers, ironworkers, saws, and other shop machinery
- Assemble illuminated and non-illuminated signs
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with coworkers to produce quality products on schedule
- Assist with other fabrication duties as needed
What We're Looking For
- Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with metal fabrication or welding
- Ability to read blueprints or fabrication drawings
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and self-motivated
- Positive attitude and willingness to help teammates
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work safely in a fabrication environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Sign industry experience
- Aluminum fabrication
- Experience with CNC routers or metal fabrication equipment
- Electrical experience with illuminated signs
- Forklift experience
