GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

• Bussers work in our fast-paced restaurant environment and able to keep up with the operations during our busiest times. The bussers will be responsible for immediately removing used tableware between courses; clear and reset tables after guests leave.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a smile and friendly greeting.
• Clear tables after guests, wipe tables or seats with dampened sanitizer cloth.
• Promptly clean table tops, chairs, booths, and around tables between guests.
• Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for next course.
• Clean up spilled food or drink or broken dishes and remove trash.
• Perform serving, cleaning, or stocking duties to facilitate customer service.
• Fill beverage or ice dispensers.
• Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate guest requests to server as needed.
• Collaborate with servers to ensure that tables are cleared, cleared and waiting for the next party.
• Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offer feedback.
• Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the efficient operation of the restaurant.
• Maintain our high food safety and sanitation standards.
• Work under the direct supervision of the assigned floor manager/lead server during assigned shift.

The job holder must demonstrate current competencies applicable to the position.
