About the Role
Were seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Commissioning Coordinator to join our mission-critical construction team focused on high-performance data center builds. This role bridges the gap between design, construction, and operations ensuring that all MEP systems are fully tested, documented, and delivered to meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate commissioning activities across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Develop and manage commissioning schedules in alignment with project milestones
- Review submittals, test procedures, and equipment start-up documentation
- Facilitate integrated systems testing (IST) and ensure compliance with commissioning plans
- Work closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and third-party commissioning agents
- Track deficiencies and manage resolution through closeout
- Maintain accurate commissioning logs and turnover packages
Qualifications
- 37 years of experience in commissioning coordination or MEP construction
- Familiarity with data center systems including HVAC, UPS, generators, and BMS
- Strong understanding of commissioning processes and documentation standards
- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel to project sites across the Southeast
- Bachelors degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred
