LEAD PRECAST CONCRETE FINISHER / QUALITY LEAD

Location: Amelia, VA

Pay: $26.00–$32.00 per hour (based on experience)Plus: Weekly production bonuses, higher pay during field installations, overtime available

At Wright’s Ready Mix, we manufacture precision precast concrete structures. We don’t pour sidewalks or driveways—we build engineered concrete wall panels that are shipped across the country and assembled with cranes into complete buildings.

We’re looking for an experienced concrete finisher who wants to become the quality leader on a high-performance production crew.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Every morning you’ll work alongside the crew to prepare production by:

• Setting and stripping steel forms
• Installing reinforcement and embedded hardware
• Preparing door and window frames
• Cleaning and maintaining forms
• Helping the team meet daily production goals

Once the concrete is poured, you’ll take the lead.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Producing clean, consistent architectural concrete finishes
• Edging, floating, and final finishing
• Repairing minor surface imperfections
• Keeping embedded steel and frames clean
• Inspecting every panel before curing
• Maintaining the quality standards our customers expect
• Helping train other crew members in proper finishing techniques

This position is about ownership. When a panel leaves the casting deck, its appearance is your responsibility.

Experience with precast concrete, tilt-up construction, decorative concrete, commercial slabs, or architectural concrete is highly preferred.
