Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction. This role serves as the technical subject-matter expert for ADP, partnering closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT to ensure system accuracy, efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities – ADP System Administration & Optimization
- Serve as the primary technical expert for ADP system configuration, maintenance, and optimization.
- Evaluate current ADP usage and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Lead system enhancements, upgrades, and module implementations.
- Ensure consistent and effective utilization of ADP across HR and Payroll.
- Analyze HR and payroll processes to identify gaps and inefficiencies.
- Design and implement improved workflows and automation within ADP.
- Maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Partner with leadership on scalable future-state system design.
- Ensure system configuration supports federal, state, and local compliance.
- Maintain data accuracy, security, and audit readiness.
- Support audits and reporting requirements.
- Monitor regulatory changes and system impacts.
- Develop standard and ad-hoc reports within ADP.
- Ensure data integrity across HR, Payroll, and Finance.
- Translate reporting needs into actionable system outputs.
- Act as a technical advisor to HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Train users on ADP functionality and enhancements.
- Support change management and adoption.
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of hands-on ADP experience in a technical role.
- Deep knowledge of ADP platforms and configuration.
- Strong understanding of HR and payroll processes and compliance.
- Experience leading system enhancements and process improvements.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience supporting multi-state or multi-entity organizations.
- Construction or project-based industry experience.
- ADP certifications or implementation experience.
