The Information Systems Analyst is responsible for developing and executing a strategic multi-site IT vision and roadmap that supports the organization’s goals and operational needs. This role analyzes, designs, and improves the companies IT systems to align with business goals, acting as a bridge between business needs and technology. The job involves gathering requirements, analyzing current processes, designing new solutions, creating technical specifications, testing, and training users, focusing on enhancing efficiency, productivity, and performance through better system use. Additionally, this position manages IT personnel, budgets, and vendor relationships, while serving as a key communicator of IT initiatives across the company.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a multisite information technology vision, strategy and roadmap for the organization.
- Evaluate existing systems, identify inefficiencies, and design new or improved IT solutions and processes.
- Work with team members to understand and document detailed business and system requirements.
- Work with stakeholders (users, managers) to understand and document detailed business and system requirements.
- Develop test plans, conduct system testing, and assist with the installation and monitoring of new systems.
- Provide training to users and offer ongoing support for new systems and features.
- Prepare cost-benefit analyses and technical reports for proposed upgrades.
- Initiates, coordinates, and enforces systems, policies, and procedures for maximizing efficiency and usefulness of organization’s systems.
- Maintains a safe and secure work environment as it pertains to the technology infrastructure of the organization.
- Designs, develops, and implements systems architecture and supporting infrastructure.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments.
- Evaluates technological trends.
- Develops and handles annual IT budget and ensures cost effectiveness.
- Develops and maintains relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
- Maintains quality of service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Contributes to leadership efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Provide leadership and direction to team members, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and company priorities.
- Communicates IT updates to staff, stakeholders, and management.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong technical management and strategic planning abilities.
- Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High-level verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience developing and managing IT budgets and resources.
- Proficient in project management across multiple systems and teams.
- Understanding of business processes and IT infrastructure.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycles and methodologies.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5 years of experience in systems analysis, IT consulting, or new system development.
- Professional certifications not required, but preferred.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
