Architectural Draftsperson

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsperson to join our team. This position plays a vital role in transforming architectural concepts into precise technical drawings and models that support both residential and commercial projects. Key Responsibilities

• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce detailed, full-scale architectural drawings and layouts.
• Translate architects’ and engineers’ rough sketches into technical plans for foundations, structures, and interior spaces.
• Review and apply applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and compliance standards to all designs.
• Coordinate and organize structural, mechanical, and electrical design elements.
• Conduct jobsite visits to collect necessary measurements and data.
• Determine required materials and calculate quantities for procurement.
• Collaborate with architects to generate cost estimates, contracts, and project documentation.
• Maintain organized records of design revisions, submittals, and project communications.
• Perform other duties and support project needs as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree in Drafting or a related field required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural drafting or a comparable role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software and related architectural design tools.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and applicable codes.
