About the Opportunity
This is an in-person, on-site role (5 days a week), set in a distribution warehouse work environment.
Providing human resources generalist support to all areas of operation, the Human Resources Manager will be responsible for effectively meeting the needs of field leadership, while helping to provide a positive work environment for around 200 employees at a single facility (located in Cranbury, NJ).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This strategic business partner and talent manager is expected to:
- Develop and implement workforce plans including recruiting and staffing strategies to optimize business unit talent acquisition and retention.
- Design, develop, and implement training and development programs including safety, management, supervisory, and value-added training.
- Communicate organizational changes and assist managers and employees as needed.
- Assure all locations comply with all federal, state, and local laws governing employment.
- Coordinate, manage, and measures safety program including training, compliance, policy development, and workers’ compensation.
- Working with Corporate Distribution and Human Resources, manage and monitor risk management program.
- Measure performance in the areas of human resources and safety and present information to corporate human resources and management.
- Manage employee performance evaluation process, performance improvement plans and career development process.
- Provide value-added services including strategic management, leadership development, and project management.
- Assist managers with employee relation issues and activities.
- Act as an impartial counselor in employee disagreements.
- Assist with performance evaluations and develop succession plans for employees.
- Actively involved in employee surveys and focus groups.
- Educate managers and employees regarding company policies/procedures.
- Provide benefits information for all employees.
- All other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Able to work in a fast-paced business climate with the ability to capture and process information quickly

Education and/or Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or relevant field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ strong human resources generalist experience.
- Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
- Bi-Lingual communication skills (Spanish) are a plus.
