Role Description
- Handles everything that isn't a clinical product. Purchased services, facilities, capital, IT items. Contract-heavy sourcing work.
- Lead sourcing and contract negotiations for purchased services (EVS, food/nutrition, laundry/linen, security, waste management, dialysis services), facilities maintenance, capital equipment, and IT-related items
- Structure and execute RFPs/RFIs/RFQs for complex service agreements
- Analyze spend data and build business cases for savings opportunities
- Present findings and recommendations to Value Analysis Committees and leadership
- Manage support staff (Sr. Consultants, Consultants, Analysts)
- 5 years healthcare supply chain
- 3 years managing non-clinical categories (purchased services, facilities, food/nutrition, EVS, capital)
- RFP/RFI/RFQ experience — this is non-negotiable
- Contract negotiation experience with service vendors
- Strong Excel/analytical skills
