Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Electrical / Mechanical Assembler.
Responsibilities
· Assemble mechanical equipment from drawings
· Wire Systems, including control boxes, from schematics
· Communicate red line changes to Engineer or Team Leader for revision prior to completion
· Ensure work is performed according to specifications
· Perform quality checks on products and parts
· Evaluate quality of materials or products
· Maintain production or processing equipment
· Perform other duties as assigned or as needed.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have had at least 2 year's experience in building machinery both electrically and mechanically, be highly organized and be able to handle full projects with minimum supervision.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be able to understand and read electrical schematics and specifications to determine wiring and assembly sequences of electrical panels;
- Must be able to understand and read blueprints, work orders or other instructions to determine product specifications or materials requirements;
- Must be able to use a multimeter;
- Must be able to drill, tap, solder, countersink, and spot-face bolt holes in parts, using drill presses and portable tools;
- Must be able to work independently;
- Must keep work area clean and organized;
- Must have good communication skills and be able to document actions by completing production and quality forms;
- Must have a good working knowledge of Windows based PC;
- Must be able to use hand tools such as soldering iron, wire strippers, crimpers, etc.;
- Must be able to pull raw cables and strip cables;
- Must be able to stoop, bend, squat, crawl and climb and must have the ability to lift to 50lbs;
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
