Job Details:
- Job Title: RN - Private Duty
- Location: Hagerstown, MD
- Setting: School-Based
- Pay Range: $34.00-$43.00 (Pay based on experience)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday – no weekends, no holidays, no call
- Hours: 08:00:00 to 15:30:00 (~35 hours/week, based on school bell hours)
- Contract Length: 12 Weeks
- Candidate Type: Local candidates only – travel stipend not available
- Preferred: 2 years of experience as a Private Duty Nurse, school setting experience preferred
- Requirements: Valid RN license, willing to obtain MD licensure
Responsibilities:
- Provide essential support and specialized care to students in educational settings.
- From IEP meetings to direct therapy or nursing care, your role will have a lasting impact on the well-being and development of students throughout the academic year.
- Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families to ensure students receive services tailored to their individual needs.
- Provide treatment for students with various communication disorders such as articulation, language, and fluency.
- Conduct speech and language evaluations.
- Write and implement goals and objectives for IEPs.
- Collaborate across a multi-disciplinary team and provide classroom support.
- Work with children in a variety of classroom settings and provide additional services depending on the needs of the student population.
