Job Details:
- Job Title: RN: Corrections
- Location: Columbia, South Carolina
- Setting: Corrections
- Pay Range: $1541.25 - 1618.31 weekly
- Schedule: Days, 36-hours per week, every other weekend and holiday
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly
- Requirements: 1 years of experience as a RN, Qualified applicants MUST have at least 1 years of experience in the correctional setting, Valid Registered Nurse license, Be willing to obtain SC licensure or compact licensure
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and modify plans based on patient responses
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including observations, treatments, and responses to care
- Supervise other nursing staff, such as LPNs or CNAs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a secure, structured environment—providing care that truly matters
- Play a critical role in serving a unique and often underserved patient population, impacting patient safety, wellness, and rehabilitation
