Job Description
Job summary : to provide on-site support for network validation, testing etc.
Required skills and responsibilities
- Execution of Jira ticket assignments
- Networking hardware (switch, routers, and optical transceivers) expertise to
- Configure and troubleshoot on test environments.
- On-premises support of network validation testbeds including protocol
- troubleshooting, layer 1 troubleshooting, cabling, optics insertions and
- reinsertions.
- Attendance and coordination of team and project meetings.
- Adherence to Oracle’s security and safety best practices.
- Attendance to our Santa Clara lab facility 5 days per week or on as-needed
- basis based on project needs.
- Development and execution of automation scripts if needed.
- Design and maintenance of custom tests for networking validation.
- Maintaining inventory support of hardware, such as shipping, receiving,tracking, and distribution.
- Completion of all Jira tickets meeting or exceeding the exit criteria to be delivered with 100% execution meeting our typical SLO of 1 ticket per
- ≥95% accuracy on validation test results.
- Documentation and runbooks delivered to Oracle’s satisfaction.
