We are seeking a skilled ETL Tester to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data processing in our data warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in testing ETL processes, validating data loads, and working closely with developers and data analysts.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for ETL processes.
Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes to ensure data accuracy.
Identify, document, and track bugs and issues in ETL workflows.
Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and analysts to understand data flow and business requirements.
Perform data reconciliation and validation to ensure data quality.
Automate testing processes where applicable to improve efficiency.
Maintain documentation of test cases, results, and defect reports.
Support deployment and post-deployment testing activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in ETL testing and data warehousing.
Strong understanding of ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, SSIS, etc.) and SQL.
Experience with data validation and reconciliation techniques.
Knowledge of testing methodologies and defect tracking tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
