Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and material staging
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to perform tasks such as concrete mixing, cutting, and finishing
- Support the installation of rebar, formwork, and other structural components following blueprint specifications
- Perform concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and sealing to ensure smooth surfaces and proper curing
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately execute construction plans and specifications
- Maintain safety protocols by adhering to construction workplace safety regulations at all times
- Support masonry, flooring installation, plastering, and renovation activities as needed
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks and operate concrete pumps or mixers for efficient workflow
- Contribute to site cleanup and organization to promote a safe working environment
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment operation
- Experience with construction estimating processes is a plus for understanding project scope and materials

- Knowledge of concrete forming, formwork construction, rebar installation, and concrete finishing techniques
- Familiarity with working on diverse construction projects including renovations and heavy masonry work
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts or other heavy equipment safely
- Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocol adherence
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, pumps, saws, and cutting tools effectively
- Experience in interpreting blueprint specifications for accurate execution of tasks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina throughout long shifts
