Vyde is seeking a skilled Member Experience Agent. This is a client-facing role for a professional who thrives on working directly with entrepreneurs and business owners to help them understand our product and services, enhancing their Vyde experience.

Member Experience Agent

The Member Experience Agent plays a pivotal role in helping new Vyde members transition smoothly from purchasing their service to actively engaging with it. As one of the first meaningful touchpoints a member has with Vyde, this role is instrumental in laying the groundwork for a strong, ongoing tax and accounting relationship.

In this role, you will conduct structured activation calls with new members to:

• Understand their business and unique needs
• Confirm the scope of services they've purchased
• Introduce the tools and resources available to them
• Establish sound bookkeeping and expense-tracking habits
• Provide clarity on what to expect next in their journey with Vyde

What You'll Bring

You should have a solid working knowledge of bookkeeping, small-business finances, and core tax concepts. While you won't act as the member's tax accountant or provide individualized tax advice, you'll play a key support role — helping members understand how their financial habits, recordkeeping, and year-round engagement support the tax strategies and services Vyde provides on their behalf. You'll also know when a question calls for deeper expertise, and ensure it is routed efficiently to the right tax accountant or team.

You'll know you're succeeding when new members walk away from their onboarding experience feeling understood, confident in their purchase, equipped to take next steps, and clear on how Vyde will continue to support them.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct activation calls with new members, reviewing services purchased and gathering key business details.
• Help members set up bookkeeping and expense-tracking practices using Vyde's software.
• Educate members on how good recordkeeping supports their tax strategy.
• Orient members to Vyde's dashboard, tools, and support resources.
• Answer general bookkeeping and tax questions; escalate complex matters to tax accountants.
• Resolve member concerns, explain next steps, and coordinate follow-up across teams.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and manage a schedule of appointments and follow-ups.
• Participate in ongoing training on Vyde's services, tools, and procedures.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of bookkeeping, basic accounting, and small-business financial concepts (income, expenses, accounts, statements).
• General familiarity with individual and small-business taxation, with the ability to explain basics and recognize when to escalate.
• Strong verbal communication skills; able to explain financial concepts clearly without jargon.
• Excellent customer-service skills and ability to build rapport with diverse personalities.
• Proven computer skills working with various programs and virtual meeting platforms successfully.
• Sound judgment, attention to detail, and strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Comfortable leading conversations, asking follow-up questions, and navigating multiple software platforms.
• Professionalism and discretion in handling confidential financial information, with a commitment to ongoing learning.
• Must have completed high school education or equivalent, additional education in communication, business or accounting preferred

The ideal Member Experience Agent pairs tax literacy with exceptional communication skills. While not a tax accountant, they're comfortable discussing money, bookkeeping, and basic tax concepts with small-business owners. Naturally curious, they ask thoughtful follow-up questions, recognize when something unusual warrants further investigation, and know when to loop in additional expertise. Above all, they know the difference between educating and advising — confident enough to add real value, humble enough to recognize their limits.
