Vybond Specialty Adhesives, LLC seeks Sr. Director, Business Development in Franklin, KY.
This position is based in Franklin, KY, but remote work within the U.S. will also be considered.
Serve as the architect and driver of the company’s end to end growth strategy. This role determines where the business should grow, how to commercialize emerging technologies, and
how to scale responsibly - ensuring product integrity, operational performance, and long term enterprise value. Serve in a strategy to execution leadership role spanning market selection,
portfolio strategy, Go To Market (GTM) design, and cross functional alignment. Be equally comfortable in the boardroom, the lab, and the field—translating technical capabilities into
differentiated offerings and building the systems that turn innovation into revenue. The position reports directly to CEO & CCO.
Growth Strategy & Market Development
• Defining, evaluating, and prioritizing growth vectors including new markets, applications, and adjacencies.
• Developing a clear, executive aligned growth thesis and long range portfolio strategy.
• Leading strategic customer, partner, and ecosystem engagements to validate growth bets.
Commercialization & GTM Leadership
• Translating technical capabilities into compelling, monetizable product and platform offerings.
• Building and institutionalizing a repeatable commercialization framework—from discovery to scale.
• Designing GTM models for core and adjacent markets, including segmentation, value propositions, and channel strategy.
• Ensuring Cross Functional Alignment & Execution
• Partnering closely with Product, R&D, and Operations to align roadmap, capacity, and investment decisions.
• Acting as the internal integrator across Sales, Product, R&D, and Operations to reduce friction and accelerate execution.
• Developing business cases for new initiatives, including ROI, risk assessment, and resource requirements.
Portfolio & Pipeline Management
• Maintaining a pipeline of validated growth initiatives with clear scale/no scale decisions.
• Establishing metrics and governance to ensure disciplined prioritization and execution.
Qualifications:Requires: Bachelors in Management, or Business Management and 2 years of experience as a Business Development Manager or related field.
