Our company is looking for a Used Car Service Technician to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Receive service assignments from the service writer or service manager
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
- Diagnosing vehicle malfunctions
- Recommending and performing appropriate diagnostic repairs with effeciency, accuracy and in accordance with factory and service center standards
- General mechanical knowledge and automotive experience required
- Make sure the proper paperwork is completed and filed after every job completion
- Set goals, develop skills and constantly increase efficiency skill level
Job requirements:
- Automotive experience required
- ASE or other certifications a plus
- Mechanical, analytical and problem solving skills
- Manual dexterity
- Team oriented vision
- Flexibility and a psoitive attitude
- Valid drvier's license with acceptable driving record
- Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
- Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
