VVS Canteen is seeking a motivated, customer focused Food Service Manager to oversee functions of the employee cafeteria at the JBS Plant in Worthington, MN. The ideal candidate will have extensive food service experience, a professional demeanor, excellent communication skills and the ability to lead 15-20 employees.
Job Duties:
- Oversee 15-20 employees on a daily basis including: hiring, training, discipline, and terminations.
- Follow weekly menus and recipes to be served to our customers.
- Follow all Food Safety Protocol.
- Complete operation functions such as ordering, inventory management, and scheduling.
- Compete any other tasks related to the overall operation of a commercial kitchen facility.

Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Institutional Food Service Management or Restaurant Management.
- Excellent work history with work related references.
- Must be able to lift 25-35 pounds frequently and 50 pounds on occasion.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
