Vuteq is an automotive supplier for a major automotive manufacturer located in the Princeton, IN area. We specialize in sub-assembling glass for windows used in Toyota and Lexus vehicles, including the Toyota Sequoia SUV, Highlander SUV, and other models. Our mission is to support automotive manufacturing through precise and efficient glass assembly.
Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Production Generalist to join our team at Vuteq Operations Support Center in Princeton, IN. In this role, you will contribute to our manufacturing process by supporting assembly line operations and ensuring quality standards are met. This position plays a vital part in delivering high-quality glass components for Toyota and Lexus vehicles. We are looking for a strong team player with project management and/or new programs experience, preferably in the automotive industry. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and AutoCAD.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide planning and organization for assigned production area. Duties include but are not limited to:

· Make training schedules/plans for kaizen activities

· Make/maintain layouts for current and new processes

· Follow up and lead concerns for new projects/kaizens to close-out

· Inventory, order, and maintain tools/order tools/order supplies

· Make and maintain project schedules and concern sheets

· Evaluate process for improvement ideas

· Cover for absent supervisors

· Prepare training materials

· Assist with countermeasures for KPI’s

· Create training documents for policies, unusual conditions,

· Liaison between Pilot and Mass Production

· May approve payroll

· Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

· Proven project management skills

· Demonstrated ability to achieve results with efficiency and effectiveness

· Strong attention to detail

· Analytical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities

· Familiarity with or ability to learn and understand Toyota production systems

· AutoCAD and assembly experience preferred

· Knowledge of environmental ISO14001 preferred

Education and Experience:

· Manufacturing or engineering preferred

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience (1 – 2 years)
