Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and bilingual Medical Assistant to join our growing team on a part-time basis (Mondays and Fridays). The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced aesthetic medical environment. You will play a vital role in supporting our providers, communicating with our diverse patient base, and helping maintain a smooth, efficient clinic flow.
Key Responsibilities: Clinical Duties
- Administer vitamin injections (B12, Lipo-Mino, etc.) safely and professionally
- Administer weight loss injections (Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, etc.) per provider protocols
- Assist providers during aesthetic and medical procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms, set up equipment, and ensure sterilization standards
- Take and document medical histories, and patient intake information
Translation & Patient Communication
- Serve as a live interpreter between Spanish-speaking patients and providers when needed
- Ensure every patient feels understood, comfortable, and well-informed
Front Desk & Administrative Support
- Assist the Front Desk Coordinator with answering phone calls and scheduling
- Check patients in and out, verify information, and process consents
- Maintain accurate, organized patient charts and electronic records
- Enter and update medications, supplies, and inventory logs
- Track expiration dates and reorder supplies as needed
General Med Spa Support
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment
- Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and patient events when needed
- Perform additional duties that contribute to a thriving aesthetic practice
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent clinical training
- Fluent in English AND Spanish (verbal and written) — Required
- Proven experience administering injections (vitamin & weight loss preferred)
- Prior experience in a med spa, aesthetic, or wellness clinic strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Tech-savvy — comfortable with EMR systems, scheduling software, and inventory tools Professional appearance and demeanor — represents the Alora brand standard
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to Mondays & Fridays consistently
