Overview

Seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Systems Integration Technician to support pre-deployment configuration, staging, and technical readiness for LED, AV, audio, lighting, and networking systems. This role primarily performs bench testing support, rack assembly, cable preparation, system staging, and hardware/software checks. The Technician may also assist onsite during critical commissioning moments as needed to support final acceptance and client sign-off.

Key Responsibilities:

Hardware Bench Testing Support

• Assist with bench testing, firmware flashing, and verification of LED panels and processing gear.
• Inspect components for damage, verify part compatibility, and confirm serial/asset identifiers.
• Support audio, media, lighting control, and network hardware readiness checks as directed.

Rack Assembly, Mounting, and Cabling

• Build and support assembly of system racks including mounting, labeling, and organized cable management.
• Assemble cable harnesses, configure signal routes, and ensure correct connections per system schematics.
• Apply consistent labeling to simplify troubleshooting and reduce installation time.

Pre-Deployment System Staging

• Participate in physical staging of full system builds for dispatch readiness.
• Prepare rack hardware, mounting rigs, panel stacking/ground-stack components, and accessories.
• Support mock setups and pre-flight checks to confirm a “ship-ready” configuration.

Pre-Deployment Configuration and Verification

• Support display configuration, network configuration, and system integration verification tasks under the Lead’s direction.
• Run assigned acceptance checks and document results in staging/quality tracking records.
• Escalate anomalies, missing parts, or suspected configuration errors immediately.

Quality Control and Documentation

• Follow defined SOPs and checklists for build steps, QA verification, and packing readiness.
• Maintain accurate build logs and readiness notes, including any rework actions taken.
• Ensure staging artifacts and required documentation are complete prior to dispatch.

Onsite Assistance (As Needed)

• Support on-site commissioning activities when the Lead requests help, such as unboxing, mounting, and cabling.
• Assist with final system tuning, troubleshooting triage, and end-user readiness support as directed.
• Ensure onsite work aligns with pre-deployment documentation and acceptance criteria.

Required Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with electronics/AV systems and technical assembly (rack building, cabling, labeling, etc).
• Basic understanding of display systems, networking concepts, and hardware verification practices.
• Strong attention to detail, safe work habits, and comfort working in a fast-paced warehouse/technical environment.
• Proficiency with checklists, documentation, and tracking tasks to completion.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with LED walls, AV processing, audio systems, and/or media server workflows.
• Experience with firmware flashing, configuration verification, and bench testing procedures.
• Familiarity with shipping/dispatch readiness workflows, including asset labeling and packaging coordination.

Success Metrics (KPIs)

• Pre-deployment build QA pass rate (targets set by the Systems Integration Lead)
• Rework rate for staged builds (lower is better)
• Completeness and correctness of cabling, labeling, and component pairing
• Timeliness of bench/staging task completion against delivery milestones
• First-time commissioning success contribution (where tracked)
