VTM Group is seeking a part-time Accounting Clerk to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who works well in a team environment and is eager to learn and grow within the organization. The Accounting Clerk will assist with daily accounting tasks, maintaining documents, and support the accounting department with various tasks as needed.
What you’ll be doing
The Accounting Clerk will assist the Corporate Accounting team on a variety of tasks. The candidate should possess a general knowledge of basic accounting principles and theory.

What you’ll be doing
The Accounting Clerk will assist the Corporate Accounting team on a variety of tasks. The candidate should possess a general knowledge of basic accounting principles and theory.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Assist with expense reports
- Communicate with vendors and clients on invoice payments
- Maintain filing, and digitalizing of financial documents
- Perform general administrative tasks to support the accounting department
- High school diploma or equivalent required; full-time or part-time students pursuing a degree in Accounting
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and theory
- Ability to work with and maintain confidential information is required
- Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and Word and accounting software (QuickBooks is a plus)
- Organization: the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
- Proficiency with 10-key and typing by touch at least 45 WPM
- Excellent communication skills; the ability to articulate orally and in writing
- Thoroughness: strong attention to detail and ensures that work is complete and accurate
- Ability to assist with special projects and other duties as needed
