Job Description
We are seeking a Senior System Administrator to manage and modernize global IT infrastructure across the US, Europe, India, and China. This role combines hands-on systems administration with project leadership, vendor management, cloud migration, network security, and manufacturing IT support.
Key Responsibilities
Manage hybrid infrastructure, including on-premises servers, Azure/AWS cloud, and SaaS applications.
Lead global hardware and software standardization projects.
Manage MSPs, ISPs, hardware vendors, contracts, and infrastructure budgets (CAPEX/OPEX).
Administer WAN/SD-WAN, VPNs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
Support 24/7 manufacturing operations and minimize shop-floor downtime.
Implement cybersecurity, MFA, endpoint protection, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
Coordinate infrastructure lifecycle projects and cloud migration initiatives across international locations.
Required Skills
Experience: 7 years in Systems Administration, including 2 years in project leadership.
Cloud: Microsoft Azure or AWS administration.
Networking: WAN/SD-WAN, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
Identity & Endpoint Management: Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, MDM, and MFA.
Cybersecurity: Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Fortinet FortiGate or Palo Alto, Microsoft Sentinel, KnowBe4.
Backup & Recovery: Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365, BC/DR planning, and testing.
Preferred: Manufacturing/OT systems experience and global infrastructure/vendor management.
