We’re looking for an experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Solution Architect to lead the assessment and long-term support strategy for a high-visibility, enterprise-scale digital platform.
This role is ideal for a hands-on architect who enjoys untangling complex, vendor-built implementations, defining sustainable governance models, and serving as a trusted technical advisor to leadership and cross‑functional teams.
Role Description
Lead platform architecture and solution design across AEM Sites, Assets, Forms, and related tools
Evaluate component, template, workflow, and content model architecture
Distinguish standard AEM practices from unnecessary complexity
Define support models, staffing needs, and transition approaches
Establish documentation standards and oversee knowledge transfer
Provide guidance on security, performance, and AEM best practices
Advise leadership on architectural tradeoffs, technical debt, and long‑term platform decisions
Collaborate closely with product, UX, engineering, operations, and vendors
Support vendor/contractor oversight, including scope and accountability input
Qualifications
- 8–10 years in enterprise CMS or digital platform architecture
- Deep hands-on Adobe Experience Manager expertise (architecture, implementation, support)
- Strong knowledge of Java, Sling, Dispatcher, and front-end integrations
- Experience assessing highly customized enterprise platforms
- Proven ability to develop technical assessments, support models, and documentation
- Experience evaluating and transitioning vendor-built systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (executive-level audiences)
- Experience with tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, or Azure DevOps
