Duties
- Safely operate your cargo van to pick up and deliver packages across designated routes with precision and timeliness
- Load and unload items using proper lifting techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, verifying recipient information and obtaining signatures when required
- Provide outstanding customer service by communicating clearly, professionally, and courteously with clients during drop-offs
- Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of your vehicle to ensure safety and reliability
- Use route navigation tools to optimize delivery paths, adhering to scheduled timelines
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as loading pallets or boxes using forklifts or pallet jacks when needed
Qualifications
- Must have a valid
driver’s license with a clean driving record - Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or cargo vans
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle interactions professionally
- Experience in warehouse operations, including moving heavy items and operating forklifts or pallet jacks (certification preferred)
- Ability to perform manual lifting and physical activities associated with loading/unloading packages
- Knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and safety procedures for commercial driving
- Comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles (if applicable) and managing long hours on the road
