We are seeking a dedicated Cost Engineer to join our team on-site in San Jose, CA. This is a full-time position responsible for performing cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis for transportation and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include preparing detailed cost estimates, analyzing cost data, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects meet budgetary requirements. The Cost Engineer will also assist in cost control planning and provide regular updates on financial tracking aligned with project milestones.

• Strong proficiency in cost estimation, financial analysis, and budget preparation
• Experience with project scheduling, financial tracking, and cost management tools
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to conduct analyses and interpret data effectively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to actively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of the transportation, rail, or transit sectors is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Proficiency in relevant software such as MS Excel, cost estimation software, and scheduling tools
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation and process improvement
